About 80% of the work is complete, maybe just a few more days and the new summer darkroom will be up and running. We commissioned a stand to be made for the new vacuum frame and it turned out really well and has just been installed. The UV exposure system is 14 four foot black light blue (BLB) tubes and the largest prints we can now expose and print is 40x32 inches in either Cyanotype, Kalitype or Platinum/Palladium.The Stephanie Hoppen gallery has requested that I make some larger cyanotype prints for exhibition so I will be quite busy over the next few weeks. I shall post the results when they are complete.

Good News. Bostick and Sullivan now have the ability to send wet plate supplies using Fed Ex (Dangerous Goods International). My half plate camera shown above is in the process of being converted to wetplate and am looking forward to getting started with this wonderful process. I was taught last year by the masters of the process 'Scully and Osterman', who in fact taught Sally Mann how to do the process a few years ago. Its quite challenging to get everything right but when it works the results are stunning.

I was recently asked by the editor of Photo Pro magazine to write an article on the fine art photography market and how to break into it, it was published last week. A pdf of the article can be found here : http://www.sendspace.com/file/t905mn
